Is Target putting Alex in an ad campaign? Why not?

Alex from Texas, I mean, Alex from Target got a lot of twitter buzz because of his Bieberish style and the pure randomness of the Internet—in an actual ad campaign? Why not? 


According to Will McInnes, CMO of Brandwatch. "Social media is a powerful and direct avenue to consumers". After the reach of #AlexFromTarget, there are a number of ad and marketing campaigns that Target could implement. Maybe store appearances by Alex or Alex's Black Friday tips of picks for clothing and seasonal items? Yes!!

Target could "hire" Alex to promote its brand value by going beyond the Bieberish look. Alex can certainly help Target humanize its brand identity and generate more authentic engagement with customer, since Alex is a down to earth and full of identity high scholar.
